GDM comes up with new solution for absorbent pads

GDM, an Italy based solution provider of complete lines and upgrade kits for hygiene disposable products, has come up with the Core Quality System to measure and control moisture level, density profile and weight of absorbent pads (fluff and SAP) online, according to a press statement issued by the company.

The system can be included to an existing absorbent pad manufacturing machine as an upgrade kit or as an optional addition to the GDM lines. It works on the microwave resonance method, and is not affected by other external factors like temperature, dust and wetness.

The Core Quality System can enhance the quality and consistency in pads. It promises extreme accuracy at high speed. It is one of the GDM's 'Zero Defects' solutions.

Prior to the Core Quality System, GDM also came up with the Single Culling System, Longitudinal Folding with Coanda Effect and Tape Tab reinforcement by USB as a part of its Zero Defects programme.

The Zero Defects solutions enable its customers to reduce costs, increase revenues and increase customer satisfaction. (MCJ)
