A knowledge paper titled ‘India in global technical textiles value chain: Growth, opportunities, and challenges’ was unveiled today during the ‘International Conference on Technical Textiles’ organised by the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) in New Delhi.

The paper was unveiled by Rajeev Saxena, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, who is also the Mission Coordinator of National Technical Textiles Mission (NTTM); Madhu Sudhan Bhageria, Chair, PHDCCI Textiles Committee and CMD Filatex India Ltd; RK Vij, Co-Chair, PHDCCI Textiles Committee; Dr. Arindham Basu, Director General, Northern India Textile Research Association; Prof. Abhijit Majumdar, Department of Textile and Fibre Engineering, IIT Delhi; Nandan Kumar, Managing Director at High Performance Textiles Pvt Ltd.; and Mayank Chhatwal, Secretary-Trade Fair at PHDCCI.
